Turning Houses Into Homes
Transparent, process driven guidance
for home renovations and new construction
Transparent
There should be no guessing when it comes to home construction. You should know where your project is at all times— both in the timeline and the budget.
pROCESS dRIVEN
Construction is rarely smooth, it’s process that keeps things on track. We stay organized and plan for things to go sideways so there is no scrambling.
Mindful
We strive to limit disruption as much as possible. We clean up after ourselves and communicate how each step of your renovation will impact your daily life.
Reasonable
Whether it’s a small bathroom update or a full kitchen rework, we provide the same clear process and reasonable pricing.
No More Delays & Blown Budgets
What may be the industry standard and accepted by many is the ultimate failure for us. With a clearly defined process, meticulous planning and direct, honest communication each of these common pitfalls can be avoided or softened. We understand that this is your home, and a renovation is a huge undertaking.
We aim to make the process as painless as possible, no matter the size or scale of the project. It doesn’t matter if this is a small bathroom update or if we’re taking the kitchen down to the studs, we’ll be just as organized and on top of the project and how it will effect your day to day life in your space.
Let’s Get Started
Request A
Consult
Our first step in any project is to discuss your vision for the space in regards to functionality and design. We’ll also talk about your budget and timeline for the renovation. We can discuss initially over the phone, but will likely schedule time to come see your space in person.
Scope Refinement & Proposal
Contract Signing & Deposits
Once we have finalized the project, we will sign a formal contract that includes materials, our coordination, the project timeline and an estimated payment schedule.
To begin work, we require a 50% deposit on the project to ensure our contractors are paid accordingly. This can be adjusted on the size and length of the project.
Client
Onboarding
Once the contract is signed and we’ve received the deposit, we’re getting right to work! Our first step is to onboard you to our project management tool, Co-Construct. This tool maintains communication records and allows us to send you updates on the timelines and budget schedule throughout the project.
Scope Changes & Change Orders
Scope of work changes sometimes, and that’s okay! Change orders are additional smaller contracts that adjust the scope of the project.
We may also utilize change orders if we need to adjust the materials used in the project due to any unforeseen circumstances.
Final Walk Through & Sign Off
Our final step is to complete a Final Walk Through together where we will make note of any final tweaks or revisions to the space. We will collect any final payments that are due and sign off on the project.
We offer a 1 year warranty on any work completed in the case that corrections need to be made after the project completion. This ensures you’re as happy with the project as possible.
What Other People Think
We hired Caroline when we moved into our new home. We knew it needed updating but weren’t sure what we wanted to do. Caroline not only helped plan and design the different areas of the home that we wanted to change, but even went along with us to help pick out countertops and plumbing elements, etc. It was clear that she had extensive experience as well as a good eye for quality materials and design elements. She ensured the project was finished on time and was always quick and transparent with estimates, timelines, and costs. Essentially, she turned what would’ve been an overwhelming project into a streamlined experience. She would absolutely be at the top of our list for future home renovations.
